Should accommodation be required for the weekend then we would recommend that you visit the Franklin District web-site, which can be found at http://franklincountry.com/ or http://pukekohe.org.nz/. There is a good range of options from camping sites, B & B through to local motels.
drivers_stand
The Counties drivers stand provides room for a maxium of 10 drivers and an unlimited view of the complete track.

Club members regulary change the track layout at our Saturday working bee:s, and our racing is done in both clock and anti-clock wise directions.

 track3
Counties track surface is good old "Pukekohe Red Clay". This provides drivers in dry conditions with a loose and very dusty surface which is prone to breaking up. When kept watered however the track firms up and is fast with high grip.

The most standard choice of tyres for 2WD are Losi step pins on the rear and a Rib combination for the front. 4WD also usually run  Losi step pins for the rear but on the front Losi IFMAR Studs are often used. Drivers can then fine tune their cars to their own choice for performance from there.
