ONE WEEK TO GO!!!!

Track layout is now set for the North Islands.  Minor tweaks from the last meeting.  We have some further rolling to do in the next week leading up to the North Islands.  This means that the track will be closed so that our track dudes can work on the track.  You will have plenty of time to practice starting from 8am Wednesday 15 October free practice all day with controlled practice on Thursday.

With 32 Days left until the North Islands the much anticipated resurfacing and expansion of the Counties RC track is now complete!

Thanks to the track maintenance team including Sean, Chris, Shane, Anton and others we have been able to add 8 huge truck loads of clay, rotary hoed the entire surface and rolled the track.  The heavens then opened to finish the job giving us a perfect racing surface for the the North Island Champs.

There is only two more meetings before the North Islands with this weekend as a club points meeting.  We expect well over 100 cars to be entered.  Hope to see everyone there.

IMPORTANT – as we need to track to settle the track is CLOSED until Sunday.  We will be laying out the new track on Saturday.

The following are the remits affecting offroad electric put forward by clubs for discussion at the upcoming NZRCA AGM. Counties RCCC did not submit any remits this year.

You may leave a comment about these remits in the comment box at the bottom of the page.  The Committee will consider everyone’s comments and will make a decision on how the club as a whole will vote at the AGM.

Points were calculated during 2014 as follows:

• We drop non-members results
• For each round and each class (eg. 2wd Stock Buggy) we sort everyone’s lap times (eg. 12 laps 6 minutes and 15 seconds) from fastest to slowest (so you may have won your heat but if you were not the fastest in that class during that round you wont get the maximum points)
• The fastest gets 50 points next fastest 47 etc (see points scale below)
• If you are the fastest in each of the three rounds you will get the maximum of 150 points

Congratulations to all those Counties RC members who went down to the Hawkes Bay at the end of March 2014.
